This class focuses on learning the basics of Irish dancing in a friendly and supportive environment!
If you are completely new to Irish dancing, or haven’t danced for a while and would like to brush up on the beginner dances, this class is for you.
We will be learning and perfecting six beginner Irish dances – Reel, Light Jig, Hop Jig, Slip Jig, Heavy Jig and Hornpipe.
Description
This termly pass is for regular beginner dancers to attend our Friday beginner classes for the whole of the 6-week term.
If you are unable to attend a class, please email us 24 hours in advance and a credit will be given to be used by the first booking deadline of the following term. Only one class per term can be credited if using this pass.
Venue Details:
The Island Dance Studio, Bridewell Street BS1 2QD. The studio is accessed through the blue gate and blue door on Bridewell Street (note this is not the main Island entrance). Parking is available in the Galleries or NCP multi-story car parks.
